1964 Fender Showman Head

A superb and desirable export example of Fender’s legendary large-format head, this 1964 Blackpanel Showman represents the pinnacle of pre-CBS design - massive clean headroom, unmistakable clarity, and the sort of dynamic response that made the Showman a favourite among surf players, studio pros, and touring guitarists throughout the ’60s and 70's.

Sporting the classic Black panel, this early Showman features Fender’s revered AB763 circuitry, delivering rich, three-dimensional cleans with tight, piano-like lows, articulate mids, and shimmering, bell-like highs. The head remains in excellent vintage condition. An alteration has been made to the mains cable outlet which has resulted in the back panel having a cut out to accommodate it.
