2013 Gibson Les Paul Standard Hand Picked '59 Reissue, Lemon Burst

A superb example of Gibson Custom Shop’s finest work, this 2013 LPR9 VOS FLB was hand-picked for the Japanese market, known for receiving some of the most visually striking and sonically exceptional guitars Gibson produce.

Finished in a beautifully understated Lemon Burst (FLB), the top displays some beautiful figuring with a very attractive flame and a natural, lightly aged VOS patina. Built with Gibson’s signature one-piece mahogany body, carved figured maple top, and long-tenon mahogany neck, this R9 delivers the resonance, sustain, and harmonic richness that define the most coveted 1959 Les Pauls. The ’59 neck profile is full, rounded, and exceptionally comfortable.

Outfitted with CustomBucker pickups, this LPR9 offers airy cleans, dynamic articulation, and that unmistakable, blooming midrange when driven. The subtle VOS treatment adds just the right amount of vintage character.

Condition is excellent, with only light signs of careful use. Frets, hardware, and electronics are all in superb order, and the guitar plays beautifully with a lively, resonant acoustic response.
