As the name suggests, The Epiphone Frontier formed the vanguard of Gibsonâs acoustic aspirations of the late 50s and early 60s.Â
Following Gibsonâs purchase of the venerable New York marque in 1957, Epiphone was utilized as a proving ground for some of Kalamzooâs more adventurous designs. The Frontier was Gibsonâs foray into the Dreadnought market, square shouldered, 25.5â scale, Spruce and Maple construction. No Frontier, no Humminbird or Dove.Â
This is a stunning example in as new condition. Comes with an Epiphone hardshell case and sounds stunning.Â
A word from GibsonâŚÂ
